I think that BnW is a great choice for architecture as it adds value to the structures; Infrared Photography pushes it one step further, giving a real punch to lines, shapes, patterns and architectural details.

I have been experimenting with 720nm, 760nm and 850nm filters, the latter being the best choice in overcast condition

Details rendition on architecture is impressive, as the deeper you dive into the NIR spectrum, the less light is scattered by the atmosphere.
